U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense on Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia Celeste Wallander today met with RA President Serzh Sargsyan, Ministers of Defense and Economy Seyran Ohanyan and Nerses Yeritsyan and others. They discussed issues related to the cooperation between Armenia and the U.S. in the sphere of defense.
Also mentioned that the Obama Administration is ready to support and contribute to the peace settlement of the Karabakh conflict in accordance with the fundamental principles of refraining from the threat or use of force, sovereign equality, and respect for the rights inherent in sovereignty.
