Armenian Zaven Andriasyan has tied the first game with Artyom Timofeev, a well know Russian chess master. In the 2010 Cup of Russia, two classic games are played, and with one ending in a tie, a victory in the next match could decide the victor of the cup. Andriasyan defeated Vladmir Potkin in the semi-finals to advance to the finals.
