Dmitry Medvedev congratulates Serzh Sargsyan on Independence Day
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Armenian Independence from the Soviet Union on September 21st, 1991. The Russian president went on to talk about how he and all of Russia was proud to share joint successes and victories in the history books with Armenia, in addition to thanking the Armenian government for helping restore a cemetery for Russian soldiers. It looks like Armenia and Russia's friendship is still going strong.
