Armenia's Tigran G. Martirosyan (77kg) won the world's champion title in the World Weightlifting Championship that happen recently in Antalya, Turkey.
The athlete Martirosyan won a gold medal lifting 173kg in the category called "snatch." China's Xiaojun Lu came in second with a result of 170 kg, followed by Iran's Kianush Rostami with 161kg.
In the category called "jerk," Tigran lifted 200kg and became the world champion. Xiaojun Lu took a small gold in jerk.
